The Revels Family Foundation
Founded in 1989
The Revels Family Foundation is dedicated to preserving our rich legacy, fostering unity across generations, and empowering future leaders through education, cultural celebration, and community service. We honor the heritage of our ancestor, Hiram Rhodes Revels—the first African American U.S. Senator—by gathering as a family, giving back through scholarships, and building a lasting impact rooted in love, learning, and legacy.

"Harboring Heritage. Anchoring Love."
Get Excited!
Since 1989, the Revels Family Reunion has united generations from across the globe for an unforgettable weekend of connection, laughter, and love. Every two years, we gather to celebrate our rich heritage with meet & greets, elegant galas, city tours, amusement park adventures, river cruises, game nights, and a whole lot of family fun.

The 2026 reunion promises to be just as extraordinary—and you’re invited. Don’t miss this chance to strengthen bonds, share stories, and create new memories.
